Google I exist

I just went and did a very silly, egotistical thing. I googled myself. I was trying to tell someone how to find my URL. I told them just to type Cjmoseley into google… It should find me… In fact it does, but I’m not first.

The first insult is being asked if I meant “C.J. Mosley”… Which is perpetually annoying, perhaps more annoying for C.J. Mosley though as his name has been misspelt on Yahoo so many times that he bumps me off the top slot on my own name!

I don’t have a unique name, it’s not common, but the Interwebs are big. I choose to use CJ Moseley as my web identity as there were less CJ Moseleys than Chris Moseleys- seriously search that sometime, what with photographers, sportsmen, cameramen and so on, there’s really no room for a Sci-Fi author at all!

So my personal mission now is to Rank higher than a typo… Any body that links to this page will be helping me out, even if it’s just a retweet or a Facebook like. Who knows if enough people link to my pages Google might stop asking people if they think they misspelt my name & URL.
