When Hollywood takes a book and crucifies every good piece of storytelling it contains and erects a burning wickerman of special effects about the sacrificial offering within, we call it a movie. Movies come in all the same essential genre flavours as books, but without the great special effects and with dialogue rendered inaudible by background music, and THAT guy eating popcorn.
