This is the future coming at you in all its floating, black glory.
So strong, so light, it might be used to build artificial limbs that are truly bionic, bridges that span oceans, buildings that reach beyond our atmosphere, aircraft that can lift thousands of tonnes of cargo, ships so large they are floating artificial island nations, even street clothing impenetrable to both knife and gunfire.
It’s electrical properties may allow us to build computers that rival or surpass in complexity even our own brain, achieve room temperature superconductors, and even convert energy more efficiently, potentially unlocking fusion technology, as well as invisibilty cloaks, with not just active camoflague, but actual optical, infrared, radar, and sonar invisibilty.
The question becomes how will we use these technologies as we enter this new age, will it be an age of exploration or warfare.
